This was my first “official” wedding since I began Hamilton Images so I was a little nervous going into it. I met the groom prior to the wedding to talk about expectations and such, and then again the night before the wedding so I felt pretty confident what I wanted and how to go about getting it. The wedding day did not have photo opportunities such as the getting ready, there was no wedding party but the best man and maid of honor, and I only had about 10 minutes to photograph the bride before the ceremony, and unfortunately never had any time for the groom. And after the wedding I only had about 30 minutes of daylight left and it was fully clouded over. I rolled with it though and feel that I got what I and they wanted, and then a lot more 🙂 I even added in the session after the wedding the next day out at Fort Pickens for free to help make sure we got enough good images for them to remember their special day.
